Urique (in Tarahumara: Urike, 'Place of ravines') is a town in the Mexican state of Chihuahua, located in the southwest corner of the entity, in the region of the ravines, the town is at the bottom of the so-called Barranca de Urique, formed by the river of the same name, due to its low altitude above sea level, Urique's climate is close to the tropical one. Here the Divisadero Barrancas Eco-Tourist Park is located, with incredible viewpoints and the 3rd largest cable car in the world, as well as alternatives for adventure tourism, such as the world's largest 4-circuit zip line.
